 Directed and produced by Puri Jagannath on the banner of Vaishno Academy, ‘Pokiri’ with Maheshbabu as hero, rewrote the collection records of the 75-year-old Telugu film industry. Now the film had won Prince Maheshbabu another Filmfare award as Best Hero.
This is the second Filmfare award for Maheshbabu, with the first one being for ‘Okkadu’.
