A couple of decades ago, he was affectionately called the silver jubilee hero in Tamil cinema. All his films went on to become blockbusters and songs in his films went on to audio charts.

The busy actor, Mohan, known to play soft romantic roles faded away from cinema in the later half of 1980s after a string of failures. He successfully ventured to small screen and produced a couple of mega serials. He tried to stage a comeback producing and directing a Tamil movie a few years go.

Unfortunately he could not succeed. Bitten by the acting bug again is Mohan. The actor is all set to make his re-entry for the third time with a movie titled Sutta Pazham. The movie would be directed by G K, who directed Perusu. Says the director, it is a full-length comedy entertainer and I sincerely feel Mohan would suit the role. I approached him and narrated the story. He immediately agreed. Search is on for a heroine.’
