Raveendhar, who cranked the camera for more than 50 films including Chinnathambi, wields the megaphone for the first time. His debut venture as the director is titled Moondram Pournami and it has Dr. Janaki Ram, Livingston, Alex, Murali Raj playing prominent roles. The female leads are played by Preethi and debutant Divya Nair.

According to the film’s producer Vijayamurali, this film is a potpourri of incidents that happen in a young woman’s life. Interestingly, the story spans three generations.

Raveendhar also takes care of the screenplay and handles the camera for this film, which has music by Deva. Piraisoodan writes the lyrics while DKS Babu takes care of choreography.
