Director Manirathinam is flying to Toronto and USA on Tuesday evening. The ace director will take part in the special premiere of his much awaited Guru, releasing worldwide on 12 January.

Manirathinam’s 20th directorial venture Guru features Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Madhavan in lead roles and is produced by Manirathinam himself on behalf of his Madras Talkies banner.

The premiere will be attended by Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai too. The movie being dubbed in Tamil will also be released on the same day. The Tamil version will have Vairamuthu penning the lyrics and Surya dubbing his voice for Abhishek Bachchan.

Expectations are high overseas, for Guru. With Hindi movies having a global appeal and Manirathinam carving a name for himself worldwide for his directorial skills, the premiere is expected to attract huge audiences.
