Director Raja and his brother ‘Jeyam’ Ravi have always been successful in Tamil cinema. They have managed back-to-back hits in Jeyam, M Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi and the recent Unakkum Enakkum. The brothers are known for remaking blockbuster Telugu movies with the right flavour of nativity.

Raja’s first film, however, was Hanuman Junction in Telugu. The movie was a big hit in Andhra Pradesh. Now efforts are on to introduce Jeyam Ravi in Telugu.

Sources say that the maiden Telugu venture of Ravi would be directed by brother Raja and that it would be an original story. Ravi is currently acting in couple of Tamil movies, Deepavali and Dhaam Dhoom. Grapevine has it that once the movies are completed, the Telugu venture would hit the floors.
